SCALPIK DP 283 NG is a paint stripper composed of biodegradable solvents that work on a large number of paints, like epoxy, epoxy-polyester, polyester, glycerophtalic, electrophoretic silicone, vinyl paint etc., by dissolving the resins and dispersing the pigments found in paint. SCALPIK DP 283 NG does not attack steel substrates and is ideal for decoating aluminium profiles.
This hot-bath, immersion stripper is used as a bath, heated to between 50 and 90 °C. It is important to never add water, otherwise the product may become corrosive to aluminium.
